...BREEZY WESTERLY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY TODAY...

.A weather system will bring breezy westerly winds through the
Cascade gaps Tuesday afternoon and evening. Coupled with low
relative humidity, this will lead to critical fire weather
conditions, especially across the Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon.

PDT THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR FIRE
WEATHER ZONES OR691, OR701, AND OR703...

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 691 Lower Columbia Basin of
  Oregon, 701 Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon and 703
  Warm Springs Reservation.

* TIMING...From noon today to 10 PM PDT this evening.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
