...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED IN THE CENTRAL
WASHINGTON CASCADES THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...

.Isolated to scattered thunderstorms capable of producing
abundant cloud-to-ground lightning are forecast Saturday
beginning around 4 PM through 3 AM Sunday. Some storms will
produce a wetting rain, however fuels are dry enough that
lightning is still expected to ignite new fires in the area.

3 AM PDT SUNDAY FOR ABUNDANT LIGHTNING FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 690 Kittitas Valley and 695
  East Washington South Central Cascade Mountains.

* TIMING...From 4 PM this afternoon to 3 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* THUNDERSTORMS...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms capable of
  producing abundant cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty outflow
  winds.

* OUTFLOW WINDS...Gusts up to 50 mph.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
