...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL WASCO AND
SOUTHWESTERN KLICKITAT COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM PDT...

At 738 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Dufur, or 12 miles south of The Dalles, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage and localized heavy
         rain is possible.

Locations impacted include...
The Dalles, Goldendale, Klickitat, Dufur, Lyle, Chenoweth, Celilo,
Wishram, Dallesport, Rowena, Centerville, and Appleton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
