...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN UNION...NORTHWESTERN
WALLOWA AND SOUTHEASTERN COLUMBIA COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM PDT...
At 614 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles south of Ski Bluewood, or 27 miles east of Walla Walla, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ski Bluewood.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
