...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 1 PM PDT MONDAY ABOVE 4000 FEET ...

* WHAT...Wet snow expected Above 4000 feet. Total snow accumulations
  ranging from 2 to 6 inches.

* WHERE...In Oregon, East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades. In
  Washington, Upper Slopes of the Eastern Washington Cascades Crest.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 1 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be difficult due
  to periods of moderate to heavy snow.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wet snow is expected mainly above 4000 feet.
  This will impact the higher mountain passes including White Pass
  and Santiam Pass.

Anyone with outdoor activities in the mountains this weekend should
be prepared for changing weather conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. In Oregon, the latest
road conditions can be obtained by visiting tripcheck.com online, or
by calling 5 1 1. In Washington, the latest road conditions can be
obtained by visiting the website wsdot.wa.gov/travel.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
