...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM EDT EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Pennsylvania,
  including the following counties, in east central Pennsylvania,
  Lehigh. In southeast Pennsylvania, Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 445 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1246 AM EDT, radar and gauge reports indicated heavy
    rainfall due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring
    in the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have
    fallen upstream of East Greenville across portions of
    southern Lehigh County.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - For Perkiomen Creek at East Greenville:
    At 12:30am the stage was 6.75 feet.
    Flood Stage is 5 feet.

    For West Branch Perkiomen Creek at Hillegass:
    At 12:15am the stage was 1.92 feet.
    Flood Stage is 5 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
