...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northeastern Philadelphia County in southeastern
  Pennsylvania...

* WHEN...Until 445 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1242 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in
    the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The
    Pennypack Creek went into flood stage.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Holmesburg and Northeast Philadelphia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
