...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
  continues.

* WHERE...Southeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey...
  Northeastern Ocean County in southern New Jersey...

* WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
  continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1016 AM EDT, the Manasquan River at Allenwood remains above
    flood stage. The river has crested and is slowly falling. Between
    4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Allenwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
