...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New Jersey, including the following
  county, Warren and Pennsylvania, including the following counties,
  Monroe and Northampton.

* WHEN...Until 1130 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or
  standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from
  these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 718 PM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already
    occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    East Stroudsburg, Bangor, Pen Argyl, Wind Gap, East Bangor,
    Delaware Water Gap, Stormville, Analomink, Saylorsburg,
    Columbia and Tannersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
