High pressure over the area will drift out to sea late this week. A
cold front passes through the region late Friday and Friday night,
then becomes nearly stationary over the Mid-Atlantic this weekend.
Low pressure develops on that boundary and lifts north through the
region Sunday and Sunday night. High pressure returns for the start
of the new week.
