...Growing Season 2025 has ended for portions of New Jersey...

After reviewing the overnight temperatures and considering where the
primary agricultural areas are in each county, it has been determined
that frost or freeze has ended the growing season in four more New
Jersey counties overnight. The counties are:

Burlington County
Middlesex County
Monmouth County
Ocean County

Urban areas and lands near the rivers, lakes and the Atlantic Ocean
likely remained above freezing, and that was taken into account.

The updated full list of counties that have ended the growing season
for 2025 now includes the following:

In New Jersey:
Burlington County
Hunterdon County
Mercer County
Middlesex County
Monmouth County
Morris County
Ocean County
Somerset County
Sussex County
Warren County

In Pennsylvania:
Carbon County
Monroe County
Lehigh County
Northampton County
Bucks County
Montgomery County
Berks County
Chester County

No further frost advisories, freeze watches or freeze warnings will
be issued for these areas until Spring 2026.
