.SHORT TERM /THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT/...
Issued at 133 AM MDT Sat Jun 14 2025

Looks like dry weather for the weekend. We will be sitting in
southwest flow under a ridge of high pressure. This will allow for
warm above normal temperatures through the weekend. Highs in the
lower elevations will be in the mid 80s today and mid to upper 80s
for Sunday. A weak shortwave will pass through the Idaho Panhandle
on Sunday. Doesn`t seem strong enough to trigger storms across
central and east Idaho, with a 10 percent chance or less of
measurable precipitation.

&&

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY/...
Issued at 133 AM MDT Sat Jun 14 2025

Much of the extended continues to look dry. There is a shortwave
trough that will arrive Monday Night into Tuesday. We could see a
stray shower Monday afternoon into Tuesday. Cooler temps are likely
Tuesday with highs around 80 for the lower elevations. Warmer temps
return for Wednesday through late week as the ridge reestablishes
itself. There`s some indications that we may cool down next weekend
as both the operational GFS and ECMWF show a closed low entering the
Pacific Northwest.

&&

.AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z SUNDAY/...
Issued at 1129 AM MDT Sat Jun 14 2025

High clouds will continue across the region into Sunday morning.
Afternoon gusts around 20kts should dissipate by or around sunset,
leaving light and variable winds overnight.

&&

.FIRE WEATHER...
Issued at 133 AM MDT Sat Jun 14 2025

Dry weather is expected through the weekend. A weak system passing
to the north on Sunday will create afternoon wind gusts of 20 to 25
mph in many areas through the weekend. Minimum humidities Saturday
and Sunday afternoon will generally be in the teens to low 20s.
