Issued at 1241 AM MDT Wed Jun 25 2025 Dry west to southwest flow aloft today and expect high temperatures back to around normal with 80s valleys and 70s mountains. Will see a slight increase in winds to 10 to 15 mph in the Arco desert. Lows tonight mainly 40s mountains and 50s valleys. A very weak trof moves through Idaho in southwest flow Thursday but should be mainly dry with most showers and thunderstorms to the north. Will be windier with widespread 10 to 20 mph sustained wind. Lows Thursday night will be in the 40s mountains and 50s valleys once again. && .LONG TERM /FRIDAY THROUGH TUESDAY/... Issued at 1241 AM MDT Wed Jun 25 2025 Mainly dry and hot conditions are expected Friday through Monday with a very slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the Upper Snake Highlands Friday and Saturday. Highs Friday and Saturday in the 70s to lower 80s mountains and 80s to near 90 valleys. Will be dry Sunday and Monday with highs by Monday in the 80s to near 90 mountains and 90s valleys. Upper ridge slides east Tuesday and will have a better chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday. Hot conditions will continue with highs still in the 80s mountains and 90s valleys. && .AVIATION /18Z TAFS THROUGH 18Z THURSDAY/... Issued at 1137 AM MDT Wed Jun 25 2025 VFR and dry conditions will continue into Thursday morning, as mid and high level clouds filter in out of the west associated with a series of shortwave troughs. Afternoon wind increases are expected at all terminals today ahead of lighter winds back overnight. Any isolated showers and thunderstorms today will remain confined to the Central Mountains and Montana Divide region, with those chances expanding to the Upper Snake River Plain and Idaho-Wyoming border region for Thursday. && .FIRE WEATHER... Issued at 1241 AM MDT Wed Jun 25 2025 Will have very dry conditions today with minimum humidity below 15 percent in portions of zones 425, 427, and 410. Will remain dry Thursday with widespread below 20 percent humidity readings and breezier conditions with more gusts in the 20 to 30 mph range. Will have slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in zones 475 and 476 and portions of 411. Friday and Saturday will have slight chance again in zone 411. No convective activity expected Sunday and Monday but lower than 15 percent minimum humidity will become more widespread. Friday and Saturday will remain breezy with 20 to 30 mph wind gusts continuing mainly in zone 410 and parts of 475 and 476.
