Gusty winds in the 35-50 mph range are possible with stronger storms, along
with a brief burst of rainfall. That potential is much lower Friday. Hot and dry
conditions build through Saturday, creating heat-related issues especially at
lower elevations. The ridge breaks down over the weekend, leading to critical fire
weather conditions due to wind and low humidity. Cooler but very dry conditions
will last into next week.
