Monsoon moisture is making its way back into the area as early as
this afternoon with isolated thunderstorms. Coverage will increase
with this first wave late this evening/tonight, though lightning
should decrease overnight as showers move north into the Central
Mountains. Another round of scattered storms is expected Saturday
afternoon which prompted the RED FLAG WARNING. Gusty winds to 60
mph and frequent lightning will be the main impact with storms
today and tomorrow. Storms become more isolated Sunday into early
next week. Outside of storms, it will be breezy on Sunday
afternoon.
