.DISCUSSION...
* Central Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 475
and 476)...
High pressure will build back into the area through Wednesday,
producing a warming and drying trend during the period. The high
will also mean weaker wind than what occurred Sunday. Thunderstorms
will continue each day this coming week, but remain at isolated
coverage, and significantly decrease in coverage starting Friday.
A weak dry cold front will increase the wind starting Thursday, so
could be some critical fire weather conditions starting then and
continuing through Saturday.
* East Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 410...411
and 413)...
High pressure is building into central and southern Idaho, but it
will still allow moist and unstable air into the region. Today, the
air is so unstable that the southern three-quarters of the Dispatch
area is under a marginal threat of severe thunderstorms, as it was
yesterday. This high will bring weak warming and some drying, but
wind will be much less than it was on Sunday, except near
thunderstorms. An approaching low will increase wind again starting
Thursday.
