Monsoon moisture will keep showers and thunderstorms in the forecast through
Wednesday. With dry air in place, gusty winds with virga/light rainfall is possible.
Outside of storms today, we will see near-critical conditions due to wind gusts
of 20-30 mph and low afternoon humidity. Dry and hot conditions will return
Thursday through Saturday with near-critical to critical conditions due to wind
and low humidity. A pattern change over the weekend will bring cooler temperatures,
but keep stronger winds and dry air in place.
