* Central Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 475
and 476)...
High pressure will build over the area today, resulting in hot and
dry conditions. Some showers and thunderstorms are expected over
parts of southern Idaho Friday into Saturday as moisture
increases, but coverage should be limited over central Idaho.
* East Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones 410...411
and 413)...
High pressure will build over the area today, resulting in hot and
dry conditions. Increasing moisture on Friday will bring isolated
to scattered thunderstorms across the area with little in the way
of associated precipitation, resulting in some dry lightning.
Coverage of thunderstorms could be enough over zone 413 to warrant
a red flag warming. Some potential for thunderstorms will continue
into Saturday.
* South Central Idaho Dispatch Area weather impact summary (Zones
422...425 and 427)...
High pressure will build over the area today, resulting in hot and
dry conditions. Gusty winds over the Snake Plain will get strong
enough at times this afternoon to result in marginally critical
fire weather conditions. Increasing moisture on Friday will bring
isolated to scattered thunderstorms across the area with little in
the way of associated precipitation, resulting in isolated dry
lightning. The potential for thunderstorms will continue into
Saturday.
