...NEAR CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON...
An upper level low will cross through southern Canada, dragging
the southern tip of a dry cold front through central and eastern
Idaho late this afternoon to evening, from west to east. The
impact on cloudiness and precipitation is nearly zero. The wind
and temperature will rise today ahead of the front`s approach,
with many low elevations exceeding 80 degrees, and some limited
areas where the humidity will dry to below 15 percent. The area
where these both happen occurs in the lower elevations between
Clayton, Challis, and Ellis. However, fuels are no longer
critical, so no Red Flag is anticipated.
