A drier weather pattern is beginning to set up over the region and
this will continue into the holiday weekend. There is a very low
chance for some showers and maybe a thunderstorm later this
afternoon as suggested by some of the hi-res models but the chance
of this is around 10 percent or so. By the time we get into the
weekend however, rain chances return to zero as temperatures
warm throughout the weekend as high pressure builds over the area.
