.DISCUSSION...A band of light rain showers is already moving
through the burn unit this morning. Total precipitation this
morning is likely to average 0.10-0.20". There is potential for a
relative break in the precipitation this afternoon, though the
break may provide a chance for isolated thunderstorms to develop.
If so, additional rainfall at the burn could reach another
0.10-0.20". Heavier showers are expected this evening, with
potential for 0.20-0.40" before midnight. Then, rainfall is
expected to be generally persistent through at least Sunday night
and could be moderate to briefly heavy. Liquid totals through
Sunday night are expected to range 1.2-1.8", with an outside
chance to exceed 2.5". Temperatures drop by late Sunday so light
accumulation of snow may be possible by Monday morning.
