.DISCUSSION...
The wettest period has arrived. Periods of on and off rain,
showers, high elevation snow, and isolated thunderstorms are
expected today, with all elements except thunderstorms continuing
tonight and much of the day Thursday as well. Wetting rains are
guaranteed over the burn. Precipitation may mix with or change to
snow above about 7,000 feet elevation...so not far from the
burn...with several inches possible. Gusty and erratic winds can`t
be ruled out if a thunderstorm passes nearby today, although the
latest high-res guidance doesn`t support anything over a gust to
35 MPH. Winds will otherwise be light. Rain and showers should
start to break up and taper off during the mid to late afternoon
hours Thursday as this low pressure system lifts east, although
confidence in exact timing is low at this time.
