...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CHST THIS
AFTERNOON...
...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 3 AM CHST EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 9 to 12 feet.

* WHERE...North facing reefs of Majuro.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM ChST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized
  beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of the elevated northeast
  swell and secondary long-period north swell are still supporting
  surf but to 12 feet along north facing reefs, but surf along east
  facing reefs is now likely below 12 feet. The Coastal Flood
  Advisory was also allowed to expire as the peak magnitude of high
  tide has been decreasing and will continue to decrease over the
  next couple of days, reducing the risk for coastal flooding. The
  northeast swell and north swell are expected to slowly subside this
  afternoon, and should allow surf to drop below 12 feet along north
  facing reefs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
