* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 ft.
* WHERE...South facing reefs of Kosrae.
* WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwesterly swell looks to persist a bit
longer, with the latest forecast guidance showing this will
continue through Thursday morning. This may get additional
support from Invest 92W, which may develop northwest of Pohnpei
in the next couple of days, helping to prolong the swell.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.

* WHEN...Until 3 AM ChST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
localized beach erosion.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...South-southwesterly swell looks to persist
longer, with the latest forecast guidance showing this will
continue through Wednesday night. The south swell is generally
being produced by a low pressure system just south of the
equator and a far more distant low pressure system east of New
Zealand.
