...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CHST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 6 to 8 ft.

* WHERE...East facing reefs of Kosrae.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM ChST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated trade swell continues to produce
  hazardous surf around 8 ft along east facing reefs of Kosrae.
  Latest buoy data shows a decrease in seas this afternoon, and trade
  swell is expected to continue diminishing overnight, allowing surf
  along east facing reefs to fall below hazardous levels by Saturday
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
