SUMMARY OF 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- Location...24.8N 134.1E About 415 miles east-southeast of Okinawa About 450 miles west of Iwo To About 850 miles west-northwest of Agrihan About 880 miles northwest of Pagan About 900 miles northwest of Alamagan About 1005 miles northwest of Saipan About 1045 miles northwest of Guam Maximum sustained winds...120 mph Present movement...west-northwest...295 degrees at 18 mph DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Typhoon Saudel was located near Latitude 24.8 degrees North and Longitude 134.1 degrees East. Saudel is moving west-northwest at 18 mph. It is expected to maintain this general course with a slight decrease in forward speed through Tuesday. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 120 mph. Saudel is forecast to maintain this intensity through Tuesday. Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 90 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 205 miles.
