DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 AM CHST...1500 UTC...the center of Super Typhoon Dolphin
was located near Latitude 17.8 degrees North and Longitude
163.4 degrees East. Dolphin is moving west-northwest at 13 mph.
It is expected to maintain this general course and speed through
Saturday. This general forecast track would take Dolphin well west
of Wake Island, well north of Agrihan, and very close to Iwo To.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 150 mph. Dolphin is
forecast to maintain this intensity through Saturday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
65 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 145 miles.
