DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 100 PM CHST...0300 UTC...the center of Typhoon In-fa was
located near Latitude 23.2 degrees North and Longitude
139.1 degrees East. In-fa is moving west at 7 mph. It is expected
to make a turn toward the north-northwest with little change in
forward speed through Wednesday, as it continues across the open
Pacific.

Maximum sustained winds have increased to 80 mph. In-fa is
forecast to intensify through tonight.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 35 miles
to the north and up to 0 miles to the south. Tropical storm force
winds extend outward from the center up to 115 miles.
