--------------------
A Typhoon Warning remains in effect for Alamagan, Pagan and
Agrihan in  the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.  A
Typhoon Warning means that typhoon force winds of 74 mph or more
are imminent or occurring.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 1100 PM CHST...1300 UTC...the center of Typhoon Saudel was
located near Latitude 19.7 degrees North and Longitude
144.8 degrees East. Saudel is moving northwest at 10 mph. It is
expected to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with an
increase in forward speed through Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 110 mph. Saudel is forecast to
intensify through Sunday.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
45 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 150 miles.

The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National
Weather Service at 200 AM ChST early Sunday morning followed by
an intermediate advisory at 500 AM ChST.
