CHANGES WITH THIS ADVISORY -------------------------- None. WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- A Typhoon Warning remains in effect for Alamagan, Pagan and Agrihan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. A Typhoon Warning means that typhoon force winds of 74 mph or more are imminent or occurring. SUMMARY OF 1100 PM CHST...1300 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- Location...19.7N 144.8E About 85 miles northwest of Agrihan About 125 miles north-northwest of Pagan About 160 miles north-northwest of Alamagan About 240 miles north-northwest of Anatahan About 320 miles north of Saipan About 430 miles north of Guam Maximum sustained winds...110 mph Present movement...northwest...320 degrees at 10 mph DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 PM CHST...1300 UTC...the center of Typhoon Saudel was located near Latitude 19.7 degrees North and Longitude 144.8 degrees East. Saudel is moving northwest at 10 mph. It is expected to make a slight turn toward the west-northwest with an increase in forward speed through Sunday. Maximum sustained winds remain at 110 mph. Saudel is forecast to intensify through Sunday. Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to 45 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the center up to 150 miles. NEXT ADVISORY ------------- The next scheduled advisory will be issued by the National Weather Service at 200 AM ChST early Sunday morning followed by an intermediate advisory at 500 AM ChST. $$ JAW
