The Tropical Storm Warning for Tinian and Saipan is cancelled.

WATCHES AND WARNINGS
--------------------
A Tropical Storm Warning is no longer in effect for Tinian and
Saipan in the CNMI.

A Typhoon Warning remains in effect for Alamagan, Agrihan,
and Pagan in the CNMI.

A Typhoon Warning means that typhoon conditions are expected,
including winds of 74 mph or more, with tropical storm force winds
beginning within 24 hours.

DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 700 PM CHST...0900 UTC...the center of Typhoon Choi-wan was
located near Latitude 19.8 degrees North and Longitude
146.1 degrees East. Choi-wan is moving north-northeast at 10 mph.
It is expected to make a slight turn toward the north with little
change in forward speed through Sunday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to 90 mph. Choi-wan is
forecast to intensify through Sunday, potentially becoming
Category 3 by Sunday afternoon.

Typhoon force winds extend outward from the center up to
65 miles. Tropical storm force winds extend outward from the
center up to 345 miles to the southeast and up to 275 miles
elsewhere.

An intermediate advisory will be issued by the National Weather
Service at 1100 PM ChST followed by the next scheduled advisory
at 200 AM ChST early Sunday morning.
