...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THURSDAY TO 4 AM
PST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, seas 6 to 11 ft at 15
  seconds and south winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt
  expected. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and
  hazardous seas 13 to 18 ft at 17 seconds and south winds 10 to
  15 kt expected.

* WHERE...Inner Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
  out 10 NM.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 10 AM
  PST Thursday. Hazardous Seas Warning, from 10 AM Thursday to 4
  AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
  damage to vessels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.

  ft at 15 seconds and southwest winds 10 to 15 kt expected.

* WHERE...Outer Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
  10 to 60 NM offshore.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon to 10 AM
  PST Thursday. Hazardous Seas Warning, from 10 AM Thursday to 4
  AM PST Friday.

FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas 10 to 14 ft Thursday
  afternoon, subsiding to 8 to 10 ft Friday morning.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Thursday to 4 AM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong ebb current of 5.73 kt at 428 PM
  Thursday. Seas 12 to 16 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
