* WHERE...Outer Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
  10 to 60 NM offshore.

* WHEN...From noon today to 5 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

AFTERNOON TO 2 AM PDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas 4 to 8 ft and north
  winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 2 AM PDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
  especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
  Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very strong ebb current of 6.75 kt at 530
  PM Tuesday. Seas 7 to 8 ft. Ebb current of 5.0 kt at 552 AM
  Wednesday. Seas 6 to 7 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
