ORZ689-690-280400- /O.CON.KPQR.FW.W.0005.000000T0000Z-250828T0400Z/ Northern Willamette National Forest- Southern Willamette National Forest- 146 PM PDT Wed Aug 27 2025 ...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT THIS EVENING FOR OUTFLOW WINDS AND HIGH INSTABILITY FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONES 689 AND 690... * AFFECTED AREA...In Oregon, Fire Weather Zone 689 Northern Willamette National Forest and Fire Weather Zone 690 Southern Willamette National Forest. * THUNDERSTORMS...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms. 15-25% chance of thunderstorms through this evening. 5% chance for wetting rains with passing thunderstorms. * UNSTABLE...High instability with elevated mixing heights may promote pyroconvective activity. * OUTFLOW WINDS...Instantaneous gusts as high as 40 mph. Gusts at these speeds can be observed tens of miles away from the core of the thunderstorm. * IMPACTS...Conditions may be favorable for rapid fire spread which may threaten life and property.
