The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Waters from Cape Shoalwater WA to Cape Falcon OR from 10 to 60
  nm...

* Until 700 PM PDT.

* At 637 PM PDT, a shower capable of producing waterspouts was
  located 23 nm west of Leadbetter Point, or 24 nm west of North
  Cove, moving northeast at 30 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small
           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* The shower will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek safe shelter, mariners can expect gusty winds and increasing
waves.

Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.
