...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL SKAMANIA COUNTY
THROUGH 500 PM PDT...

At 428 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Trout Lake, or 25 miles east of Mount St. Helens,
moving southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central
Skamania County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
