Cascades of Lane County-South Washington Cascades-
Including the cities of Santiam Pass, Willamette Pass, Mt. St.
Helens, Waldo Lake, Larch Mountain, Lost Lake, Tombstone Summit,
Breitenbush Springs, Santiam Junction, Government Camp, Indian
Heaven Wilderness, Bennett Pass, Timothy Lake, and McKenzie Pass

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM PDT SUNDAY ABOVE
4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 4000 feet. Additional snow
  accumulations between 1-3 inches, highest amounts at Government
  Camp, and an additional 4 to 6 inches of snow above 5000 feet.
  Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...South Washington Cascades and the Northern and Central
  Cascades of Oregon.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a 20% chance of an additional 6
  inches or more of snow at pass-level.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Have a winter emergency driving kit readily available. Common items
to include: flashlight, batteries, blankets, a shovel, water,
non-perishable food items, tire chains, etc.

Be aware that walking surfaces may be slick. Walk with extra care.
