The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Dust Advisory for...
  Southwestern La Paz County in west central Arizona...
  West central Yuma County in southwestern Arizona...
  Eastern Imperial County in southeastern California...

* Until 830 PM MST/830 PM PDT/.

* At 732 PM MST/732 PM PDT/, a wall of dust was along a line
  extending from Yuma Proving Ground to 6 miles west of Martinez Lake
  to 7 miles northeast of Winterhaven to near Araby to 6 miles east
  of Yuma, moving west at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Less than two miles visibility with strong wind in excess
           of 40 mph.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar.

  IMPACT...Hazardous travel.

* This includes the following highways...
  AZ Interstate 8 between mile markers 1 and 16.
  CA Interstate 8 between mile markers 67 and 96.
  AZ Route 95 between mile markers 29 and 39, and between mile
  markers 63 and 68.

Locations impacted include...
Yuma, Somerton, Martinez Lake, Gadsden, Fortuna Foothills, Gordon`s
Well, Algodones Dunes, Andrade, Winterhaven, Araby, Yuma Proving
Ground, Blaisdell, and Glamis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving
conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in
dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep
your foot off the brake.

Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE
STAY ALIVE!
