The Flood Watch is cancelled for a portion of south central Arizona,
including the following areas, Aguila Valley, Apache Junction/Gold
Canyon, Buckeye/Avondale, Cave Creek/New River, Central Phoenix, Deer
Valley, East Valley, Fountain Hills/East Mesa, Gila Bend, New River
Mesa, North Phoenix/Glendale, Northwest Pinal County, Northwest
Valley, Scottsdale/Paradise Valley, Sonoran Desert Natl Monument,
South Mountain/Ahwatukee, Southeast Valley/Queen Creek, Superior,
Tonopah Desert and West Pinal County.

Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to
heed remaining road closures.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the following
  areas, Dripping Springs, Globe/Miami, Mazatzal Mountains,
  Pinal/Superstition Mountains, Rio Verde/Salt River, San Carlos,
  Southeast Gila County and Tonto Basin.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Lingering showers and isolated thunderstorms will add to rainfall
    totals that have already reached between 1-3". The potential for
    further accumulations on top of already saturated ground will
    promote an elevated flood threat through this evening.
