...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Arizona, including
  the following counties, in south central Arizona, Maricopa. In
  southeast Arizona, Pinal.

* WHEN...Until 900 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Multiple flood control streamflow gauges remain above
  alarm stage. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other
  low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
  Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
  passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 633 PM MST, gauge reports indicated continued elevated
    flow in washes and creeks. Flooding is already occurring in
    the warned area.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Queen Creek.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Seville and Santan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
