...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Gila County in east central Arizona...
  Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 1215 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Some low-water
  crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1002 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory
    area. Up to 1.25 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Globe, Miami, Cutter, Central Heights-Midland City and Claypool.
  - Bloody Tanks Wash, Russell Gulch, Six Shooter Canyon, and Ice
    House Canyon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
