...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM MST /NOON PST/ THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Arizona, including the following
  county, Yuma and southeast California, including the following
  county, Imperial.

* WHEN...Until 100 PM MST /noon PST/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 948 AM MST /848 AM PST/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.75
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Yuma, Somerton, Gadsden, Fortuna Foothills, San Luis,
    Andrade, Winterhaven, Araby, Algodones Dunes, Blaisdell and
    Gordon`s Well.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
