032 FNUS55 KPSR 011919 FWFPSR Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central Arizona and Southeast California National Weather Service Phoenix AZ 1219 PM MST Sun Nov 1 2026 .DISCUSSION... Widespread wetting rainfall has occurred across the area today with the highest rainfall totals up to 2-4" across the high terrain north and east of Phoenix. Rainfall activity will begin to taper off from west to east later this evening, however a trailing line of storms will be possible across southcentral AZ later this afternoon. There could be a brief 1-2 hour period of gusty SW winds late this afternoon and early this evening, especially with any thunderstorms, with peak gusts up to 30-40 mph possible in the lower deserts of southcentral AZ to 40-50 mph at the highest elevations east of Phoenix. Minimum humidities will range between 55-80% areawide today and overnight maximum humidities up to 80-100%. Notably drier conditions are expected beginning on Monday, but minimum humidities will still remain around 30-45% each day as temperatures will be near to slightly below normal. Winds will return to a more typical diurnal pattern Monday with overall lighter speeds and modest afternoon upslope gustiness. There will also be some northerly afternoon wind gusts up to 15-25 mph along the lower Colorado River. ...Thunderstorms imply gusty winds...
