Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest and South-Central
Arizona and Southeast California
National Weather Service Phoenix AZ
237 PM MST Fri Oct 17 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Temperatures will warm into a near normal range over the weekend,
which translates to lower desert highs in the upper eighties. Some
lingering northerly breeziness may exist through the remainder of
the afternoon across the western districts, but otherwise, winds
will be light and generally follow diurnal tendencies through the
weekend. Afternoon minRHs will range from 15-25% areawide, with
values on the lower side of that range across the western
districts. Overnight recoveries will decrease slightly from
45-65% tonight to 40-55% Saturday night across the eastern
districts and decrease from 30-55% tonight to 25-50% Saturday
night across the western districts. Dry conditions with 0% CWR and
mostly clear skies will persist through the weekend.
