.DISCUSSION...
An unseasonably wet weather system will arrive early Sunday, resulting
in scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms particularly in the late
morning through early afternoon. There is currently a 30% chance for wetting
rainfall across Joshua Tree NP. Afternoon minRHs will rise to 28-35% on
Sunday, with similar values anticipated Monday. Overnight recovery will be
good. Winds will generally favor a southwesterly direction with gusts
increasing to around 20-25 mph by Sunday afternoon. Gusty and erratic
winds will be possible in the vicinity of any thunderstorm.
