.DISCUSSION...
Dry conditions will persist over the next couple of days. Any rain
on Tuesday is expected to stay west of the taller mountains to
the west of Joshua Tree. Below normal temperatures will continue.
Overnight recovery will be around 40% tonight, but increase to
around 85% on Monday night. The main concern will be gusty winds
developing tomorrow afternoon and evening with southwesterly
gusts into the upper 20s to near 30 mph. These gusty winds will
continue through the day on Tuesday, with a slight decrease in
winds (20 to 25 mph) during the early morning hours on Tuesday.
