.DISCUSSION...
Current radar imagery shows the heaviest thunderstorm activity
north of Globe, with many of the gauges having reported between
1-1.5 inches of rain in less than hour. This has resulted several
of the creeks and washes to have elevated flows with flooding
impacts along low-water crossings. Chances of showers and
thunderstorms will continue into early this evening, with the
elevated potential for flooding continuing. A Flood Watch remains
in effect through 10 PM MST this evening. Conditions will improve
significantly into the late evening and overnight period with
little to no activity expected. Much quieter conditions are
expected on Wednesday with only a slight chance of thunderstorms.
