A dry cold front will sweep the region Friday night into Saturday, bringing gusty winds ahead of it (primarily on Friday afternoon into the early evening) and cooling temperatures to below normal on Saturday. Expect downvalley east winds Friday morning to shift west southwest during the afternoon, with gusts up to 20 to 25 mph developing and lasting into the early evening. Winds overnight into early Saturday morning may become light and variable for a period but shift back out of the west southwest late Saturday morning and through the afternoon. Afternoon high temperatures around 100 degrees Friday will cool to around 90 on Saturday.
