.DISCUSSION...
Very hot temperatures will contribute to seasonally dry conditions
through the next couple days. Afternoon high temperatures will
reach around 115 degrees and minimum afternoon RH values will dip
to 15-20%, with overnight recoveries around 40-45%. Winds will
follow seasonal patterns, and be similar to the previous few days,
with a modest southerly wind during the day and very light
northerly or variable wind in the mornings - mainly between
0200-0900MST. Afternoon wind speeds around 5-15 mph with gusts to
around 20 mph will be common this afternoon. Wind speeds Saturday
will be slightly weaker than today. Although, a sudden short
period of breezy southerly winds, with a few gusts up to 15-20
mph, may develop Saturday morning, but current confidence in this
occurring is low. The rain and thunderstorm chance today is 0%
and <5% on Saturday.
