...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT GILA COUNTY THROUGH 815 PM
MST...

At 744 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles west of West Poker Mountain, or 39 miles east of Globe, moving
southeast at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Gila County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
