The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Fremont County in central Colorado...
  Northwestern Custer County in southeastern Colorado...
  Northeastern Saguache County in central Colorado...

* Until 530 PM MDT.

* At 236 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain over Hayden Pass Burn Scar. The storm is nearly
  stationary. Around one half inch of rain has already fallen. Flash
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
           flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Hayden Pass Burn Scar.

This includes the following areas, Cutty`s Resort On Hayden Creek
Road and Big Cottonwood Creek along County Road 40.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
