.Discussion...
Critical fire weather conditions are not expected for the next
seven days.
Showers will linger over the higher terrain through the night,
with the heaviest rainfall back along the Continental Divide. On
Sunday, drier and warm weather expected, as rainfall quickly ends
during the morning. A cold front will bring cooler air back to
the region on Monday and Tuesday, along with a return of shower
chances to mainly the mountains. A slow warming trend then
develops for the remainder of the week, with occasional showers
lingering over the mountains each day.
Afternoon smoke dispersion will reach good or better levels at
most locations on Sunday as mixing heights rise. On Monday,
dispersion falls back into the poor to fair range as cooler
air behind a cold front limits deep mixing.
