.Discussion...
Critical fire weather is not expected through the next work week.
Showers are expected to come to an end over the high country
throughout the morning hours, with dry and warm conditions
persisting for the rest of our Sunday. A cold front arrives this
evening, bringing cooler temperatures and more rain chances for
Monday. Near normal temperatures are likely for Tuesday, with above
normal temperatures for Wednesday. Off and on chances for showers
and thunderstorms, mainly over the higher terrain, are expected to
persist throughout the work week. Our next potential weather system
arrives late week or into next weekend, which looks to bring cooler
and drier conditions.
Afternoon smoke dispersions will be good or better for most zones
today. Rates will be generally poor over the high country, fair on
the plains, and good over the San Luis Valley on Monday.
